Ultra-Low Frequency Vibration Isolation Workstation
 |
The MK26 Series Vibration Control Workstation
is designed for ultra-low natural frequency applications
and negative stiffness vibration isolators. Vertical-motion
isolation is provided by a stiff spring that supports
a weight load, combined with a negative-stiffness mechanism.
Beam-columns connected in series with the vertical-motion
isolator provide horizontal-motion isolation. The horizontal
stiffness of the beam-columns is reduced by the "beam-column"
effect. Isolators (adjusted to 1/2 Hz) achieve 93% isolation
efficiency at 2 Hz; 99% at 5 Hz; and 99.7% at 10 Hz. Features
include ultra-low natural frequencies, vibradamped frame,
customizable accessories, no air supply or electric power
needed, choice of tabletops, ergonomic styling, class
100 clean room compatible (class 10 also available), no
maintenance, and easy adjustment. Maximum load capacity
is 700 lbs, maximum tabletop width is 48, and maximum
tabletop depth is 36. |
